Yelp · Squarespace
Works on SquarespaceYelp reviews widget for Squarespace.
Squarespace suits restaurants and studios that want one good-looking page, and their Yelp rating is the thing that decides whether somebody books it.
The carousel is usually the right one here
A single-page Squarespace site has no room for a wall of reviews, and a carousel gives it several in the height of one.
Sample Yelp reviews, drawn by the real widget. Yours replace them once you connect your listing.
What is different about Squarespace.
A Code block above the booking or contact section is the whole job.
Code blocks need a Business plan on Squarespace; the popup is an alternative because it goes in Code Injection instead.
How it installs
Add a Code block where the reviews should appear and paste the embed code. Code blocks only render on the published site.
Layouts you can use
6 of ReviewsJet’s 7 — every layout except the product widget, which needs a Wix store.
Add the Slider widget to your Squarespace site
- 01
Add a Code block
Edit the page, click an insert point, and choose "Code".
- 02
Paste the embed code
Paste this into the Code block and apply:
<script async src="https://cdn.reviewsjet.com/@FlexByt/widgets/embedded-widgets/bundle.js"></script> <reviewsjet-slider id="your-site-id" count="3" platform="others"></reviewsjet-slider> - 03
Save
Save the page. Code blocks only render on the live site, so open your published page to check.
Yelp and Squarespace, specifically.
- Can I put it in the footer so it shows everywhere?
- You can, though the popup is the better tool for site-wide — it sits on every page without taking any layout.
- Do the reviewer photos come across?
- Where Yelp shows one. You can switch photos off and show names only.
