Works on Squarespace

Google reviews widget for Squarespace.

Squarespace is chosen by people who want a good-looking site without maintaining one, and a Google rating is the one thing they cannot get onto it without help.

The grid is usually the right one here

Squarespace templates are built on a tidy grid of their own, and a review grid sits inside one without looking like something bolted on.

Booked again the same week

Called on a Tuesday about a boiler that had given up and someone was out the next morning. Explained what was wrong without any of the usual theatre, and the price was the price he quoted.

Genuinely the best in the area

Third time back. Consistent every visit, which is more than I can say for the two places I tried before.

Very good, one small niggle

No complaints about the work itself. Parking is a nightmare but that is hardly their fault.

Straightforward and honest

Told me what it would cost, then did it for that. No upsell.

Turned up when they said

Which sounds like a low bar until you have waited in for three other firms. Clean, tidy, gone by eleven.

Sorted in one visit

I had been told it would need two. It did not.

What is different about Squarespace.

  • There is no ReviewsJet app for Squarespace. You paste an embed into a Code block, which works completely — it is just not an integration, and this page will not call it one.

  • Code blocks only render on the published site, so the Squarespace editor will show you a placeholder rather than your reviews.

How it installs

Add a Code block where the reviews should appear and paste the embed code. Code blocks only render on the published site.

Layouts you can use

6 of ReviewsJet’s 7 — every layout except the product widget, which needs a Wix store.

Add the Grid widget to your Squarespace site

  1. 01

    Add a Code block

Edit the page, click an insert point, and choose "Code".

  2. 02

    Paste the embed code

Paste this into the Code block and apply:

    <script async src="https://cdn.reviewsjet.com/@FlexByt/widgets/embedded-widgets/bundle.js"></script>
    <reviewsjet-grid id="your-site-id" count="15" platform="others"></reviewsjet-grid>
  3. 03

    Save

Save the page. Code blocks only render on the live site, so open your published page to check.

Google and Squarespace, specifically.

Why can I not see it while editing?
Squarespace does not run code blocks in the editor. Open your published page and it will be there.
Do I need a paid Squarespace plan?
Code blocks need a Business plan or above on Squarespace. That is their rule rather than ours — the popup is an alternative, since it goes in Code Injection.

Put your Google reviews on Squarespace.

Free plan, no card. Connect your listing, choose what goes live, and paste one line into your site.
